Children spending time playing is fundamentally important to their health, along with their personal and social development. Through play there are the obvious benefits of physical exercise; but cognitive and developmental benefits are also a key factor. While children play with other kids, they also learn valuable social, emotional, and language skills.
When children are having fun, they are more receptive to learning. Play can take many forms; from traditional sports and team games, to independent activities like singing and creative arts. After a long day at school, children need to give their brains a break, and have time to enjoy learning, through play.
The Zorbit Kids After School Club was created to help take some of the stress away from working parents. Let us take care of getting your child from school, and provide them with a fun and active end to their school day!
Each day your children will receive:
• Pick-up and transport from school to Zorbit Sports (click here for a list of supported schools)
• Organized snack time
• Dedicated quiet time for homework if required
• Organized (age appropriate) play time; including ball play, parachute games, crafts and colouring, NERF activities,
bean bag and potato sack games, glow in the dark dodge ball, and more
• Discounted rate for PA Day Camps & March Break Camps
Our after school club will provide the daily physical activity your child needs to be happy and healthy! We will also enforce good values, proper manners, conflict resolution, respect, kindness and effective communication.
The safety and wellbeing of your children is vitally important to us.
All staff are police checked, first aid and child CPR certified, and our buses are safety tested every 6 months.
